 Hello!  I am proud to say that I am a product of Lincoln Public
Schools...Hawthorne, Lefler, and Lincoln High!  I live in the house
that my parents built (many years ago) and that I grew up in. I
returned to Lincoln in 1988 and have worked at East, Lefler, and
Lincoln High.  (It was one of my goals to work in a school that I
had attended - mission accomplished!)  I am a strong believer in
what LEA stands for and what we do. LEA is very fortunate to have
a strong leadership base; it is the foundation for a productive and
active association.  We couldn't do it without you!

Mission Statement

The Lincoln Education Association shall advance public education and empower education employees

to ensure quality public education for all students; defend and expand the rights and interests

of public education employees; and advocate human, civil, and economic rights for all persons.
Established in 1921, the Lincoln Education Association has over 2,800 active and retired members.  We are the recognized bargaining agent
for certificated staff in the Lincoln Public Schools in Lincoln, Nebraska. LEA is the local affiliate of the Nebraska State Education Association
and the National Education Association.
