counselor. I have represented LEA in a number of capacities including LEA Board, Representative
Assembly, Delegate Assembly, Appraisal Committee, building FR and numerous other committees and
activities. I look forward to continuing to serve LEA members”.

Position Statement:  “For 10 years, I have been a strong advocate for teachers at all levels. My goal is to
serve all in a capacity that would help educational professionals, share resources, and provide a voice
that would benefit all students and teachers”.

Position Statement:  “I've been an LEA member since 1983. After my 1st Representative Assembly I
decided to become more active at the local level. My priority is to listen to teachers' concerns and
suggestions on how to make our association better. Please vote for me to continue to represent YOU”!

Liz Wysong Hoffart……………….. Kahoa

Association Activities:  LEA – I have been a Faculty Representative for the past 7 years for my elementary
school. I have been a school-board contact team member for three years. NEA – I attended my first
National Education Association Delegate Assembly last year, and was an active participant in the policy
making process.

Position Statement:  “During my career I have seen some policy changes that have benefited and
challenged students and their academic success. I would like to be a part of the LEA board so I can be a
voice for these students and to help people remember that students are more than a”.
