- Generate support and promote public education in Lincoln through cooperative efforts
with the Lincoln Public Schools, the business community, and Lincoln citizens.
- Generate member involvement and increase public awareness to increase funding
and support for quality public education in Lincoln by influencing decision makers,
citizens of the community, and public entities.
- Promote quality instruction in the Lincoln Public Schools through programs and
resources that help teachers teach.
- Promote member understanding of and involvement in Association goals, programs,
benefits, and activities.
- Ensure that in Lincoln the decisions about learning and the conditions that support
learning are made by those closest to the students, classrooms, schools, and
community.
- Negotiate and defend LEA employee rights and benefits under the Professional
Agreement, school board policy, and state and federal law.
